This is, without a doubt, the creepiest ‘found’ poster ever

‘Found’ posters are a great idea – they’ve reunited countless people with missing pets, bags and wallets over the years.

Unfortunately one has just sprung up in Skegness that surely belongs in a horror movie.

Lois Slocombe spotted the false teeth taped to a tree with a note reading: ‘Have you lost your teeth?’

We don’t want to belittle the kind gesture – the person clearly wanted to reunite the owner with their missing false teeth – but there is something a little creepy about the dentures (which were missing a few teeth) and the blunt message that came with them.

Lois decided to help with the search for the (presumably) toothless owner, and posted the picture to the Facebook group Skegness Skegness Skegness (which is a community page for, you guessed it, Skegness).

More than 50 people have commented on the post, but so far most of them seem to be either laughing at the picture or tagging their friends and writing something like ‘found your teeth mate lol’.

Rickydawn Kent saw the magic behind the post though, suggesting that the search was a ‘bit like Cinderella’s slipper’.

Hopefully the teeth get back into the hands mouth of their owner soon.
