Home That Used To Be A Public Toilet On The Market For £330,000

Public toilet converted into flat – yours for £330,000 (Picture: Rightmove)

A semi-detached house that used to be a public toilet has gone on the market for £330,000 – nothing to those flush with cash.

The one-bed home was converted in 2016 and is said to ‘boast’ an open-plan kitchen, living area, and cloakroom.

It has under-floor heating, a contemporary glass staircase leading to a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and a courtyard enclosed by a brick wall.

It is presumed its toilet facilities are also pretty special.

The public convince had been set for demolition but a residents’ campaign put a stop to that and instead the site was converted into two apartments.

The house in Ewell Village, Surrey, has been listed on the Rightmove property website for £330,000 by Mark Anthony Estate Agents.

According to GetSurrey the property had been sold just last year for £285,000 suggesting strong growth in the housing market given the 16% jump.

This is, without a doubt, the creepiest 'found' poster ever

The block, called Bourneview, backs onto a green open space that includes the Grade II listed Bourne Hall.

The toilets had been auctioned by Epsom and Ewell Borough Council in 2012 for £68,000.
