KUALA LUMPUR
His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council this morning watched the Men's Jurus Tunggal Silat at the Juara Stadium in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.
The country was represented by Mohd Imanuddin Haji Ahmad, the first participant in the Men's Jurus Tunggal Silat event. In the competition, Mohd Imanuddin failed to make it through to the finals after obtaining 444 points in the preliminary stage. Almohaibid Abad from the Philippines collected 458 points; Mohd Iqbal Abdul Rahman from Singapore with 456 points; and Chantilath Souksavanh from Laos collected 452 points - advanced to the finals.
