His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of condolences to His Excellency Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, following the tragedy by Hurricane Harvey in Texas, the United States of America.

In the message, His Majesty expressed his much sadness to learn of the loss of life and the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas. His Majesty, the Government and the people of Brunei Darussalam sent the deepest condolences to His Excellency, the Government and people of the United States of America, especially to the bereaved families of the victims. In concluding the message, His Majesty conveyed his great sympathy to His Excellency Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America.
