More than 60 Junior Scouts, comprising secondary school students throughout the country received their certificates at the Junior Scouts Leadership Basic Course Certificate Presentation Ceremony this morning.

On hand to present the certificate was Pengiran Mahdi bin Pengiran Haji Salleh, Chairman of the Brunei Muara District Scouts Association.  The course trained new members to interact with other members of the junior scouts and scouts leaders, apart from teaching participants new skills and experience during camping.  Chief Patrols will also understand and get to know their respective roles and responsibility to lead and train new junior scouts. 

The course was organised by the Co-curriculum Education Department through their Uniform and Community Services Unit with the cooperation of the Brunei Muara Scouts Association.
