After the meeting, His Majesty and President Xi witnessed the Signing of Cooperation Agreements in a ceremony held at the Great Hall of the People.

The Cooperation Agreements are:

- Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Brunei Darussalam and the Government of the People's Republic of China on Jointly Promoting Cooperation within the Framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Initiative;

- Memorandum of Understanding on Strengthening Cooperation in the Field of Infrastructure between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam and the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China;

- Plan of Action on Health Cooperation between the Ministry of Health of Brunei Darussalam and the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People's Republic of China for 2017 - 2020;

- Memorandum of Understanding between Ministry of Defence, Brunei Darussalam, and Ministry of National Defence, The People's Republic of China, on Strengthening Defence Cooperation.

Signing the Cooperation Agreements on behalf of the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamanteri Retired Colonel Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister's Office. Meanwhile, the Government of the People's Republic of China were represented by Mr. He Lifeng, Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission; Mr. Zhong Shan, Minister of Commerce; Miss Li Bin, Minister of National Health and Family Planning Commission; Major General Ci Guowei, Deputy Chief, Office for International Military Cooperation, Central Military Commission. After the signing ceremony, His Majesty then proceeded to the Golden Hall for a State Banquet in honour of His Majesty's State Visit to China, which was hosted by His Excellency the President of the People's Republic of China.
