His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam this morning left Beijing, People's Republic of China after concluding the State Visit. Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen. Prior to leave the hotel, Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr.) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.

Before boarding the Royal Aircraft, His Majesty walked past a Static Guard mounted by the People's Liberation Army. Present at Beijing Capital International Airport to bid farewell to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam were His Excellency Kong Xuanyou, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China; and Her Excellency Yang Jian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam. Also present to bid farewell to His Majesty were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Retired) Dato Seri Setia (Dr.) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister's Office; and Her Excellency Datin Paduka Magdalene Teo Chee Siong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the People's Republic of China.
