BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

The Malay Language Month Programme is an additional effort to produce excellent students through various activities that can enhance the confidence of students with their peers. Yesterday morning, the Malay Language Unit of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Primary School with the cooperation of the Undergraduates Activity Body, Faculty of Literature and Social Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam organised a learning activity in conjunction with the programme.

The programme enables students from Years 1 to 5 to be involved in the activities provided, according to their respective education levels, among them Communication and listening, writing and creativity as well as reading and Memory. Apart from giving the students an opportunity to gain knowledge on the Malay language in an informal manner, the two day activity also aims to produce knowledgeable and confident students. Learning at play can also give a positive impact to the students' minds. Through such activities, students are hoped to be able to speak better and to glorify the Malay Language as the country's official language.
