27 Year 6 pupils of the Sekolah Ugama Anak-Anak Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei, who have completed the reading of 30 juzuk of Al-Quran this afternoon, were celebrated in a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony held at the Multipurpose Hall of the Police Training Centre in Gadong.

The ceremony commenced with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohamad Jammy bin Haji Muhammad Shah Al-Islam, Commissioner of Police. It was followed by the reading of Khatam Al-Quran. The ceremony was one of the annual activities of the Islamic Studies Department in effort to encourage the pupils to inculcate the practice of Al-Quran reading in their daily lives.
