Bandar Seri Begawan

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a Titah highlights the progress achieved by Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB since its establishment. In the Titah, the Monarch touches especially on the 4-Star rating accomplished by university in the overall assessment by the QS and the increasing number of students joining the Post Graduate Program every year.

However, His Majesty also highlights the ratio of international students has not reached the optimal target for an Institution of Higher Learning, calling for UTB to multiply its internationalisation efforts to attract more foreign students. His Majesty as the Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB delivered the Titah at the 5th Convocation for Degree Graduates and the 26th Convocation for the Higher National Diploma Graduates of UTB this morning. The convocation ceremony was held at the International Convention Centre.
