Prime Minister's Office Hosted Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony

The Prime Minister's Office and its department's yesterday afternoon hosted a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with the Golden Jubilee Celebration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's Accession to the Throne. The ceremony was held at Masjid Ash-Shaliheen, Prime Minister's Office Building Complex and was jointly organised by the State Mufti Department, the Government Printing Department, the Radio Television Brunei Department as well as the Information Department.
Present at the ceremony were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti; Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Hamdan bin Haji Abu Bakar, the Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohd Roselan bin Haji Mohd Daud, the Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office. Also present were the Chief Syarie Judge, Syarie Court of Appeal Judge, Auditor General; the Chairman of Public Service Commission; Permanent Secretaries; Deputy Permanent Secretaries; Heads of Departments; as well as officers and personnel of the Prime Minister's Office and its departments. The ceremony began with mass Asar prayer led by the Imam of Masjid Ash-Shaliheen, Anuar Bin Haji Salim, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Waqi'ah, Surah Al-Mulk, Tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran in conjunction with the Golden Jubliee of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's accession to the throne.
The Doa Kesyukuran ceremony is an expression of gratitude towards the leadership of His Majesty and to seek blessing from Allah the Almighty in granting His Majesty good health, longevity and continue to reign with His guidance.
