Several new books have been launched during the opening ceremony of Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA's 7th Mahrajan Haflut Al-Takharruj or Convocation Ceremony.

The books are the result of research and writing by UNISSA's lecturers and foreign academics to further enrich the reading materials for students and the public. The book titled "Muflis dalam Pandangan Mazhab Al-Syafi'i: Teori dan Praktikal di Negara Brunei Darussalam" written by UNISSA's academic staff focused on bankruptcy statistics at the Brunei Darussalam Court. The book provides detailed explanation on the issues of bankrupty among the community.

"Deposit Withdrawal Behavior in Islamic Banking" is book written by an academic staff of Universiti Brunei Darussalam that highlights the causes of deposit withdrawal from Islamic banks. The book also discussed on factors such as banks that not in accordance to Shariah and low returns.

Meanwhile, the book titled "Islam di Borneo, perspektif Ekonomi, Halal dan Pendidikan" discussed on the development of Islamic education in Borneo Island comprising of debates of education Islamisation and the development of pre-school education. The book also highlights discussions pertaining to the efforts in realising the Zikir Nation vision through printed and electronic media. The published books are hoped to become reference materials for the public especially academic researchers.
