2 Special-Needs Students Win Silver Medal at the Global It Challenge in Vietnam

Two students with special-needs did Brunei proud when they came back with the silver medals after competing in the Global I-T Challenge (GITC) for Youth with Disabilities in Hanoi, Vietnam. Brunei was represented by four students at the Challenge - organised by the Korean Society for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.
Awang Umar Alfi Abdul Aziz, a Year-Eight Student at the Lambak Kiri Secondary School, won the silver medal in the e-Live Map Challenge for Youths with Autism. While Awang Amir Haziq bin Hafiz Azizi from the Sayyidina Hussain Secondary School secured the silver medal in the e-Live Map Challenge for Youths with Visual Impairment. He was also awarded the Excellence Challenger Award.
