Exhibition on the Beloved Monarch

The Brunei History Centre's Exhibition with the theme "Pameran Wajah Kesayangan Rakyat" continue to be held around the country in raising students' awareness in appreciating their country's history and nurturing their love toward their beloved Monarch.
The exhibition was held at the Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School in Tutong. It was part of the programs marking the Golden Jubilee of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's Ascension to the Throne. The exhibition aims to disseminate information and knowledge about Brunei's development during the 50 years of His Majesty's reign. Present at the function was Dayang Nor Asurah binti Haji Meluddin, Head of Cluster Five of the Tutong District's School Department. According to a Senior History Officer, Pengiran Hajah Mahani binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad, the campaign is one of the initiatives in extending from time to time information on the Brunei's Monarchical sovereignty, apart from introducing the department's function to the students.
There were also a number of side-line activities, such as quizzes, demonstration of Jawi Khat, video show on the country's history, and sale of books published by the Brunei History Centre
