Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, Yang Di-Pertua of the Legislative Council, this morning received a farewell visit from Her Excellency Nurul Qomar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony took place at the Dewan Majlis building.

In the Farewell visit, both parties expressed their appreciation for the long-standing relationship shared by the two countries and high appreciation for the good working relationship during Her Excellency's service in the country as the Ambassador in Brunei Darussalam. Both sides expressed hope that the good relations between the two countries will continue to be maintained and strengthened. Also present were Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Jaya Dato Paduka Awang Haji Judin bin Haji Asar, Secretary to the Cabinet Ministers' Council & Clerk to the Legislative Council, Dayang Rose Aminah binti Haji Ismail, Deputy Clerk to the Legislative Council and Officers from the Council Department.
