​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Chancellor of the Sultan Sharif 'Ali Islamic University, UNISSA, in a titah, stresses that the increase of enrolment and application of foreign students every year at the Sultan Sharif 'Ali Islamic University, UNISSA, signifies UNISSA's own specialty among the foreigners.

Towards that, His Majesty gives support to UNISSA's effort to attract more foreign students to pursue their studies at UNISSA as one of the contributions of His Majesty's government to the development of regional ummah. His Majesty, who is the Chancellor of UNISSA, made the titah at the 7th Haflut Al-Takharruj or Convocation Ceremony of UNISSA yesterday morning. Expressing great pleasure that the UNISSA Lifelong Leadership and Learning Centre has begun operations, His Majesty believes that the centre is capable of becoming a catalyst to knowledge enrichment and skills empowerment of all levels of the community regardless of age aside from being able to enhance the professionalism of civil servants by offering various courses to them.
