Media Conference For The Opening Of The Eco-Corridor, Junjung Kasih and Kesyukuran Ceremony

The presence of the public is welcomed at the decorated vehicles procession, opening of the eco-corridor as well as Junjung Kasih and Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with the Golden Jubilee Celebration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's Accession to the Throne which will take place at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien in the capital this Sunday, 22nd of October.
The media conference on the event was held this afternoon at the Brunei Muara District Office. Present at the media conference were the Co-Chairmen of the Executive Committee for the decorated vehicles procession, opening of the eco-corridor as well as Junjung Kasih and Kesyukuran ceremony.
Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs among other matters explained about the event's itinerary which is expected to start at 7.15 in the morning. The Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs also touched on the aspects related to the comfort of the public.
On the opening of the eco-corridor, Awang Haji Marzuke Bin Haji Mohsin, Permanent Secretary for Technical and Professional at the Ministry of Communications explained on the number of access points for the public into the Eco-Corridor during the historic occasion.
For the Junjung Kasih and Kesyukuran ceremony, tents have been set up for the use of citizens and residents in the four districts. Besides on land activities, several water activities are also provided to enliven the ceremony. Awang Haji Muhammad Sunadi bin Haji Buntar, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs further explains.
