The victim of a house fire which broke out last Saturday at the Kampung Tungku Landless Indigenous Citizens Housing Scheme yesterday afternoon received tithe money from the Brunei Islamic Religious Council, MUIB. The presentation ceremony was held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The assistance amounting to 400 dollars to Awang Haji Omar bin Sa'at was handed over by Dayang Jurainah binti Haji Abu Bakar, the Acting Head of the Tithe Collection and Distribution Division of MUIB. The cash contribution was from the Asnaf Fakir Miskin Tithe Money Collection allocation. The donation is hoped to alleviate the burden of the fire victims.
