BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

During the decorated vehicles procession, opening of the eco-corridor as well as Junjung Kasih and Kesyukuran ceremony this Sunday, the public are reminded to maintain cleanliness, especially at the roadside, park, river as well as other public places. Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs raised the issue of cleanliness during a Media Conference yesterday.

Awang Abdul Mutalib said that as citizens and residents who love the country and the Monarch, it is our responsibility to maintain the cleanliness, beauty and well-being of facilities and services which have been provided in public places. The public are also urged to make use of the rubbish bins provided, and are advised to bring back their waste when they cannot find bins nearby, instead of dumping them in public places.
