21 Qari and 9 Qariah are qualified for the Semi Final of the National Level Al-Quran Reading Musabaqah for Adults 1439 Hijrah / 2018. Yesterday afternoon, the result announcement and prize presentation took place at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Kampung Mentiri. The ceremony was organised by the Islamic Syiar Development of the Mosque Affairs Department and the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque Takmir Committee.

Souvenirs and certificates were presented by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, the Deputy Minister of Education. The function was further enlivened with the tausyeh performance by pupils of the Pengiran Anak Puteri Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah Religious School. Also present were Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Mohamed bin Pengiran Haji Osman @ Othman, member of the Legislative Council, Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and Awang Roslan bin Haji Taja'ah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Administration and Finance at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
