Ah, we’ve all been there – one drink leads to another and before you know it you wake up in prison having tried to bite a police officer.

Wait, what?

Well, for Celina Dally this unbelievable scenario began with an evening of wine tasting and ended with her buying him an apology cake reading ‘Sorry I tried to bite you’.

Dally, from Lake Charles, Louisiana, got drunk wine tasting at McNeese State University and passed out in the car on the way home.

Local media has reported that her concerned friend who was driving her back called paramedics.

But when Dally later woke up she was in jail, having been arrested for public intoxication and assaulting a police officer.

To apologise to Officer Guillory, Dally bought him a cookie cake daubed with the words ‘Sorry I tried to bite you’ in green and white icing.

In a since deleted Facebook post, the Sowela Technical Community College student wrote: ‘Most of you don’t know but I was arrested on October 7 for public intoxication and also for assaulting an officer (not proud of it but it happened).

 ‘Anyway, as most of you do know I’m way too nice. My conscience was eating at me so I decided to find Officer Guillory (who’s super sweet by the way) and apologise with a cookie cake! Just thought I’d share with you all.’

Local news channel KATC said she isn’t proud of what happened and she wanted to apologise to the officer.

She’s using the incident to serve as platform to help combat cyberbullying and urges anyone who needs help to call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
