Parents are generally supportive and loving creatures, but they can be cruel. So, so cruel.

A little boy learned this the hard way when his mum surprised him with a unicorn toy.

But Jessica Mags had a surprise in store for her son Weston – with just a little squeeze, the unicorn’s face transforms from cute to YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE.

If you’re feeling bad about laughing right now, don’t, because after the initial shock wore off, Weston saw the funny side.

Jessica wrote on Facebook: ‘Can’t. Stop. Watching.

‘He’s fine btw. He’s asking to watch the video and is laughing at it.’

Let’s break this down.

Weston has no reason to suspect anything is going to go wrong.

He loves his mum and is delighted with his new toy, agreeing when Jessica asks: ‘He’s cute?’

He’s about to learn an incredibly important life lesson.

Jessica squeezes the toy, the unicorn angrily bears its teeth, and Weston is consumed by horror.

We can safely assume that this is the biggest fright he has experienced in his young life.

His eyes open wide as he jolts backwards away from the toy and unleashes a primal scream.
