Eight factory workers killed in three-vehicle crash on NSE

At least eight factory workers were killed in an accident involving two buses and a van along the North South Expressway on Tuesday.
Fire and Rescue Department spokesman Azman Hussin said eight people were killed on the spot while 32 others were injured in the 5.40am incident.
The collision happened at KM147 of the expressway, just before the Juru Toll Plaza.
It is learnt that the victims, who have been sent to the Sungai Bakap Hospital and Seberang Jaya Hospital, are workers of Sony and Plexus.
Firemen and the police are working at the scene now.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion following the accident.
