His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, consented to send a message of congratulations to His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey, the Government as well as to the people of the Republic of Turkey on the occasion of their Republic Day.

In the message to His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction that the friendship and cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Republic of Turkey have continued to strengthen, not only among officials but also between the private sectors and its people. His Majesty also looked forward to work with His Excellency in deepening the bilateral and regional collaboration, especially with Turkey's new role as a Sectoral Dialogue Partner of ASEAN. In ending the message, His Majesty extended his kindest regards and very best wishes to His Excellency and the people of the Republic of Turkey for continued prosperity and happiness.
