A mystery passenger on an Australian flight grounded a Perth, Australia-bound Qantas plane after inciting a terrorism scare.

A flight headed to Perth, Australia from Melbourne was grounded for two hours on Saturday after a flier caused a scare by naming his personal Wi-Fi hotspot "mobile detonation device".

Passengers were told the Qantas aircraft wouldn't take flight until the dangerous device was located, reports the West Australian. A thorough search, however, found no such device on board.

It wasn't all smooth sailing from there, as around 40 passengers refused to take the flight. This caused further delays, as these passengers needed retrieve their luggage from the aircraft.

Qantas was contacted for comment but did not immediately respond.
