The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has four core aspirations which are to socialise culture among the people, encourage building a progressive society, consolidate the process of youth development to benefit youths and to use sports as a mechanism to cultivate a sense of belonging and strengthen unity among the people.  Hence in nation building and to achieve the Wawasan Brunei 2035, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports stressed the importance of deep commitment among members of the Civil Service and the community in general.  In this regard the support of the Members of the Legislative Council is very welcome, especially proposals on cooperation and joint ventures, particularly in supporting the Ministry's plans and initiatives which are yet to be implemented.

Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja (Retired) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Hj Md.
