The Children's Cancer Foundation, YASKA, received more than 7 thousand-dollar donation from the Varsity Cycle 2-point-zero participants. The cycling expedition was held in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam 71st birthday celebration. The handover ceremony was held yesterday morning at the Oncology Ward, Women and Children's Centre of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.

The cheque worth 7 thousand 5 hundred 71 dollars was handed over by Datin Doctor Dayang Hajah Anita Binurul Zahrina binti Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz, Vice-Chancellor of UBD; Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of UNISSA; Professor Doctor Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB; and Doctor Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, Acting Ra'es of KUPU SB. The contribution was received by Doctor Hajah Norehan binti Haji Johari, Child Specialist at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital, as the Chairman of YASKA.

YASKA is a non-government organisation that aims to provide support for children with cancer and their families while undergoing treatment as well as educates and raise public's awareness on children with cancer in the country.
