KUALA BELAIT

 

To enhance the quality of healthcare services for residents in the Belait district, the Ministry of Health this morning held a discussion session with Penghulu and Village Chiefs from the district. The sharing of information and ideas from the discussion aimed to enhance the provision of a high quality, safe, accurate, comprehensive, effective, and responsive healthcare system which is suitable with the current needs of residents.

 

The discussion was chaired by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Zulkarnain bin Haji Hanafi, the Minister of Health. 14 Penghulu, Acting Penghulu, Village Chiefs and Acting Village Chiefs from Mukim Bukit Sawat, Kuala Belait, Labi, Liang, Melilas, Seria and Sukang attended the discussion session. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Hamid bin Haji Mumin and Yang Berhormat Awg Hanapi bin Mohd Siput, Members of the Legislative Council; Awang Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health, Doctor Awang Hazri bin Haji Kifle, the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy) at the Ministry of Health and Awang Abdul Hazis bin Haji Ahad, the Acting Belait District officer.
