Brunei Darussalam has sent representatives to the 14th International Mathematics and Science Olympiad, IMSO, in Singapore. The delegation left for the republic this afternoon.

The 5-day Olympiad is organised by Singapore's Ministry of Education and the National University of Singapore High School of Mathematics and Science. 22 countries including Bulgaria, China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Taiwan will compete in the competition. Brunei's delegation is led by an officer of the Science, Technology and Environment Partnership Centre, STEP, Dayang Hajah Normimah binti Haji Abu Bakar, and two teachers. Dayang Hajah Normimah said she hopes the students will do well in the competition.
