The 'Breakfast for School' program organised by the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah has a positive impact to students and help them to concentrate better in class. This year 1 thousand 215 less fortunate students and 13 schools nationwide were selected for the program. The appreciation ceremony to the program contributors and coordinator was held this afternoon at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Certificates were presented by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs as a member of the Yayasan Board of Directors. The recipients comprised of Ideal Multifeed Farm (Brunei) Sendirian Berhad, Breakfast for Schools' coordinator teachers, teachers and staff as well as contributors for the program side dishes and transport services.
For this year, the Breakfast for School program has served eggs and full-cream fresh milk. Overall the free breakfast were provided for 393 students from Brunei Muara district, 594 from Belait district, 78 from Tutong district and 150 students from the Temburong district.
