Politeknik Brunei should remain at the forefront of the nation's education in providing level 5 Diploma qualifications, in building every stakeholder's confidence, continuously striving for high standards, leaping at new technological innovations and opportunities and developing core values. The Minister of Education highlighted the matter at the Handing Over of the Politeknik Brunei ISO 9001:2015 Certificate Ceremony. Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi Bin Haji Osman added with a quality management system that complies with the highest International Standards, Politeknik Brunei will provide the platform of a quality education system, which readies the students for a lifetime of learning and success. 

The ISO Certificate was handed over to Mr Denis Ho Mun Tai, Pdirector of Politeknik Brunei by Mr Rakesh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of Bureau Veritas, Singapore. Politeknik Brunei is the first higher education institution in Brunei Darussalam to be awarded the International Organisation for Standardisation, ISO 9001:2015 in providing Level 5 Diploma Education in the field of Business, Information Communication Technology and Science and Engineering. Also present was Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Education. The Minister of Education later presented certificates to fourteen Politeknik Brunei staff in recognition of their significant roles as ISO task force members and certified internal auditors, for ensuring and managing compliance to ISO standards and requirements.
