5.2-magnitude quake hits Xinjiang: CENC

BEIJING
A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Yecheng County in Kashi Prefecture in northwest China's Xinjiang at 7:29 a.m. Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter was monitored at 35.69 degrees north latitude and 77.46 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 87.0 km, the center said.
