The 2-day Kem Ibadah' or Ibadah Camp Programme ended last night with a Certificate Presentation Ceremony for the participants. The function took place at the Pengiran Muda Abdul Wakeel Mosque in the Tutong District.
Certificates were presented by Awang Wardi bin Haji Mohammad Ali, the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. 74 mosque youths took part in the 2-day programme, which was filled with spiritual and recreational activities, cleaning campaign, talks and visits. Such a programme aimed to bring the participants closer to the mosque, and fill their free time with beneficial activities. According to Awang Wardi, the programme conducted under the Brunei December Festival targeted mosque youths as well as village residents to together learn, understand and practise the teachings of Islam. Apart from that, the activities will also open up the minds of the participants, and improve their physical and mental capabilities.
