Al-Ijtihad Team and Al-Qaireen Team were crowned as champions of the Dikir Syarafil Anam Competition for Kampung Mentiri Youth. The competition took place last night at the Perpindahan Mentiri National Housing Scheme Civic Hall.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Mohammad bin Pengiran Haji Othman, Member of the Legislative Council who is also the Village Chief of Kampung Masjid Lama, Pekan Muara, Sabun and Pelumpong. 8 teams took part in the competition, which aimed to further enliven the Maulidur Rasul celebration. The competition was co-organised by the Kampung Mentiri Consultative Council and the Kampung Mentiri Mosque, and was managed by the village's Neighbourhood Watch, Women's Bureau and the Youth Bureau.
