His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam held a meeting with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The meeting of the two monarchs signifies the good and longstanding relationship between Brunei Darussalam and the United Kingdom. The meeting was held at the Buckingham Palace, London.

At the Buckingham Palace, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was greeted by The Queen's Master of Household. His Majesty was then ushered to a room for a photograph and a meeting with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second. His Majesty then held a separate meeting session with His Royal Highness Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge.

His Majesty was then greeted by His Royal Highness Prince William before proceeding to a room for the meeting. After the session, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam left Buckingham Palace. Bidding Farewell to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was His Royal Highness Prince William.
