The Taman Asuhan Kanak-Kanak Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (TASKA YSHHB) celebrated one of the most significant events in the Islamic calendar, the Israk Mikraj 1437H, yesterday.

Attended by the community of TASKA, which included teachers, assistant teachers and young students, the event was also participated by the CEO of YSHHB School, Awang Noorhaizamdin bin Haji Mohd Mosbi, as the guest of honour; the Acting Principal of YSHHB Primary School, Cikgu Alimas bin Haji Md Ali; the Acting Principal of TASKA YSHHB, Cikgu Hajah Zainab binti Haji Abdul Wahab, and the Principal of YSHHB Religious School, Azmerul bin Haji Haris.

The event began with the mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Ustazah Noryashimah binti Haji Mohd Yassin.

The event then continued with the recounting of the significant events that happened during Israk Mikraj of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as well as the obligatory daily prayers emphasised upon the students.

The event concluded with a practical session of the daily prayers for Kindergarten 1, 2 and 3 students.

According to TASKA YSHHB, the celebration of Israk Mikraj is an annual religious activity in its calendar of events, aimed to honour the significant events in the Islamic calendar and to inculcate the importance of correctly performing the five daily prayers to the students of TASKA YSHHB.
