Judge Pengiran Hajah Hanani binti Pengiran Haji Metussain was compelled to hand out stiff punishments in view of the pair's audacity in approaching people's driveways for the purpose of stealing cars.

The 10 charges alternated between the two men state that they stole four vehicles from four houses in Tutong, Kampong Sungai Hanching, Sungai Liang and Kuala Belait.
