Conversion Ceremony in Kampong Perpindahan Bukit Beruang

​Two brothers yesterday afternoon recited their Islamic oaths in a conversion ceremony held in Kampong Perpindahan Bukit Beruang, Tutong. A personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy, Able Rate Armizam bin Yaping, is now known as Muhammad Armizan bin Abdullah Yaping. Also embracing Islam was his brother, Armirol bin Yaping, a personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department.

 

 

 

Present at the ceremony was Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). Also in attendance were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Ramli bin Haji Lahit, member of the Legislative Council;  First Admiral Pg Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pg Haji Muhammad, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy; and Awang Haji Shamsul Bahrin bin Haji Mohd Hussain, the Tutong District Officer.
