Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah celebrated its 25th anniversary of its establishment with a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony. His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Chairman of Yayasan Committee of Governors graced the ceremony yesterday afternoon at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in the capital.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, the Minister of Education as Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors,  Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohamad Yussof, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports as First Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Director, and Dato Paduka Eddie bin Dato Paduka Haji Sunny Managing Director of Yayasan.

The ceremony commenced with the Mass Fardhu Maghrib prayer led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awang Haji Salim bin Haji Besar.

The reading of Surah Yasin and Doa Kesyukuran was also led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awang Haji Salim bin Haji Besar.

Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah was established on the 5th of October 1992 as the foundation of charitable deeds and contribution of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Majesty's family. It is the symbol of the Monarch's love and care towards the people, and acts as a facilitator for creating a peaceful and prosperous community.
