His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Minister of Defence and the Supreme Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF consented to receive in audience His Excellency General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Gatot Nurmantyo of the Tentara Nasional Indonesia, TNI at the Istana Nurul Iman.

Present at the ceremony were Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces; Captain (Retired) Dato Paduka Abd Rahman bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence and Arko Hananto Budiadi, Charge d'Affaires, Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Brunei Darussalam. His Excellency was conferred the title 'The Most Exalted Order of Paduka Keberanian Laila Terbilang, First Class (D.P.K.T) in October 2015 in recognition of his contributions in fostering excellent defence ties between RBAF and TNI.
