The Royal Brunei Police Force reminds the public that any involvement in the activity that affecting the community's moral is a serious offence of the law. Any individual who is found to pay with some amount of money for immoral services and offering such services, can be sentenced to not more than three years imprisonment and not more than 10 thousand dollars fine.
Such reminder was released following the apprehended of a Vietnamese man by the Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit, Crime Investigation Department of the Royal Brunei Police Force, on 25th January at a rented room in Gadong, who was believed to be the pimp for such immoral activity. 28-year old, Dinh Thanh Liem was brought before the Court and found guilty under the Women and Children Protection Act and was sentenced to 14 months imprisonment and a stroke of the cane. Investigation by the Police has found that Dinh Thanh Liem has offered a Vietnamese woman for such immoral activity and earn money from the activity.
