The Community Development Department, JAPEM, meanwhile, has provided aid in the form of food and other basic necessities to about 300 Temburong District residents affected by floods.  This is in addition to shelters provided at Kampung Rataie. In this regard, Yang Berhormat (Retired) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports has asked for cooperation from Penghulu and Katua Kampung in the district to inform JAPEM in order to facilitate the distribution of aid to the flood victims.

Kampung Ujong Jalan, Kampung Buda-Buda, Kampung Belais, Kampung Paya Bagangan, Kampung Bokok and Kampung Menengah were among villages visited by the Minister's delegation.  Villagers and other members of the public seeking information or aid may contact Hotlines 995, 993, 991 and Temburong District Office on telephone lines 5221266 or 5221265.
