BERAKAS, BRUNEI-MUARA
Two members of the Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs (PPPMB) yesterday left for People's Republic of China to attend a seminar from May 11 to 31 2016.
The President of PPPMB, Dr. Hj Abdul Latif Chuchu attended the send-off ceremony for Hj Zupri Hj Kamis and Abd Hafiz Hj Abdul Manan at the Brunei International Aiport. The duo is set to participate in a seminar titled ''Quality and Safety of Agricultural Product for Developing Countries 2016" that will be held at Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU) in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province of People's Republic of China.
PPPMB is actively advocating the need for continuous, lifelong learning process particularly in the business field. Its President believes that Bruneians should focus on increasing healthy business activities that can also promote growth in the public sector. Dr. Hj Abdul Latif maintains that business is highly encouraged in Islam, since Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam (Peace be upon him) was himself a trader and merchant. Therefore, PPPMB is doing its best in answering the titah made by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam whereby the monarch has called for Bruneians to diversify the nation's economy through trade, business and entrepreneurship.
