A promotional effort to introduce local products made by trainees at the Youth Development Centre took place this morning with 89 hampers handed over to Kuala Belait's Chung Hwa Middle School. The delivery took place at the K-HUB in Kampung Anggerek Desa in Brunei Muara District.
In an interview with RTB, the Manager of the Youth Initiative and Cottage Programme of the Brunei National Chamber of Business and Industry, DPPKB explained the initiative aimed to provide job opportunities and business exposure to the centre's graduates.
For the Youth Development Centre, there were positive signs when foreign companies started to show interest in the trainees' products and turn the centre into a platform to produce more products.
