BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

A local company is planning to open an all Bruneian retail store in the capital.   The company, S.Naaz Sendirian Berhad welcomes local producers to a briefing on collaborative and supply opportunities.

The briefing will take place at the Design and Technology Building (D&T) in Kampung Anggerak Desa on Thursday, starting at two in the afternoon.  The Brunei Local Products and Souvenirs Centre is targeted for opening next month at the former Citibank location in the capital, and is looking for local products that "showcase the Bruneian lifestyle and culture".

According to S.Naaz, the centre will house products from about 60 to 80 companies; with items ranging from packaged food, health and beauty, arts and culture, handicrafts and souvenir merchandise.   The store is envisioned as a one-stop-shop for the products and services of micro, small and medium enterprises including those from Village and Mukim Consultative Councils (MPK/MPM). For further information contact 8855469 or 8712847.
