The full rehearsal for the giant-sized national flag hoisting ceremony was also held yesterday Morning. This is to ensure the smooth running of the event that takes place this Friday at the open area of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in the capital.

Watching the rehearsal were Datin Paduka Doctor Hajah Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, and Awang Haji Amer Hamzah bin Pehin Orang Kaya Amar Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Zakaria, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, as Co-Chairmen for the giant-sized national flag hoisting ceremony. Citizens and residents in the country are to hoist the national flag at their respective residence, government buildings, and business premises starting this Friday until the 25th of this month. Pengirans and people bestowed with titles should raise their personal flag, while the general public will hoist the National Flag.
