Citizens and residents throughout Brunei Darussalam will celebrate the 34th National Day with the Grand Assembly that will be held on Saturday, the 24th of this month. To ensure the smooth running of the event, participants involved in the celebration continued to practise diligently yesterday morning at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.

Watching the rehearsal was Yang Berhormat (Retired) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports who is also the Chairman of the celebration's Executive Committee. Participants were full of spirit during the rehearsal to coordinate and perfect their performance before the full rehearsal, where all participants from ministries and departments, education institutions, uniformed teams, as well as government and non-government organisations. Their participation portrayed their nationalism, love and undivided loyalty towards the monarch and the nation. This is in line with this year's National Day theme 'Menjayakan Wawasan Negara' or Accomplishing the National Vision.
