Brunei-Japan Homestay Programme

16 participants of 'Inapdesa Programme (homestay) Brunei-Japan' have the opportunity to recognize, learning as well as gaining experience through the homestay activity. They visited various interesting places in order to know about the tradition, culture, arts and the community life in the country. The participants are students from Rikoyyo University, Japan. The Homestay Programme was organised by 6 foster families.

 

Yesterday afternoon, the participants made a visit to Sengkarai Tutong Religious School to witness the education and learning system. During their visit to the school, they gained experiences by trying the jawi writing and calligraphy. The 'Inapdesa Programme (homestay) Brunei-Japan' is a continuous programme organised by Brunei - Japan Friendship Association since 2009 with the aim to foster closer friendship and strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries, apart from improving the tourism sector in the country. Hence, the Japanese students will have an opportunity to witness the culmination event of the 34th National Day Celebration today at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien.
