KB Sentral Shopping Centre to Collaborate with APTK for a Job Fair

The KB Sentral Shopping Centre in collaboration with the Local Employment and Workforce Development Agency (APTK) under the Ministry of Home Affairs will be holding a job fair from today until May 15.

 

Ten companies including two from KB Sentral Properties Management and Garden Sentral Hotel will be participating in the job fair, according to a press release.

 

The other participating companies are G4S, Sugarbun, AIA Insurance, Rentokil, RopeTech International Brunei, 4Life and APTK. Baiduri Bank will also participate in the job fair on May 14.

 

The event is organised to help jobseekers meet their potential employersand get the best information through direct communication.

 

Two side activities have also been planned for May 14.

 

A senior educator, Awang Haji Ali Yusri bin Haji Abdul Ghapor, from the Ministry of Education will deliver a motivational talk that will provide advice on career, motivation and CV writing techniques.

 

A talk on the Employment Order of 2009 will also be conducted by the Labour Department.

 

Applicants are advised to bring copies of their identity cards, CVs and any other relevant documents.

 

About 500 vacancies were filled by local jobseekers at the last job fair held in May last year.
