Obeying all the Constitutional Laws is a way to thank the country. This was among the highlights of a Special Talk in conjunction with the 34th National Day celebration. The talk was organised by the Takmir Committee of Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Mosque in Kampung Sungai Akar.

The session was attended by Yang Berhormat (Retired) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The special talk titled, "Grateful For the Gift of Independence' was delivered by Doctor Haji Harapandi Dahri, a Lecturer at Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College. According to the talk, Muslims should express gratitude verbally and perform the obligatory prayers daily. They should also supplicate to Allah the Almighty for the well-being of their parents after the prayers as a way of thanking the elders. The function was attended by more than 100 trainees of the National Service Programme, PKBN's 7th Intake.
